Sr. Financial Operations Manager

As a seasoned finance and accounts professional, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of a fast-growing start-up.The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in statutory compliances, and the ability to drive financial decisions in a dynamic business environment.The role requires managing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, as well as handling monthly/quarterly/annual book closing and preparing financial statements along with timely Management Information Systems (MIS).The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and other applicable statutory requirements. This includes preparing and processing vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other disbursements in a timely manner, as well as supporting audits, tax filings, and liaising with external auditors/consultants as required.In addition, the finance and accounts professional will manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate records of transactions. They will maintain documentation and compliance for cross-border payments and international vendor transactions, and monitor cash flows and coordinate with banks and financial institutions.Key requirements for this role include a Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (Certified Accountant/ Certified Management Accountant preferred but not mandatory). Additionally, 4–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a start-up or technology company, is necessary. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and general compliance requirements, as well as experience in book closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting, are also essential.This is an excellent opportunity for a senior finance professional to join a growing technology start-up and work closely with leadership.
