Job Title: Financial Operations ManagerDepartment: Accounting and FinanceReporting to: Senior VPWork hours: Pacific Time Zone (PST)Job type: Full-time, RemoteJob Summary:The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial accounting functions within the company. This role requires a deep understanding of construction accounting principles, financial management, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Prepare and Analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.Manage the yearly audit and tax compliance process, ensuring all information is complete, accurate, and available for tax preparers and auditors.Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.Provide management with information vital to decision-making processes.Coordinate and facilitate the construction draw process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds for construction activities.Requirements:CA/CPA with 8-10 years of experience in the real estate/construction industry.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality of deliverables.Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.Must have excellent work ethic, high integrity, and excellent follow-up skills.Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills in decision-making.Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.Demonstrated leadership and management skills.Superior ability to track and meet deadlines, focused on overcoming obstacles.High level of computer skills, including extensive experience with Yardi, Procore, or similar real estate accounting systems.Ability to take initiative and manage teams effectively.
