**Construction Accounting Leadership Role Overview**This leadership role oversees and manages the financial accounting functions within the organization, requiring a deep understanding of construction accounting principles, financial management, and compliance.The responsibilities include all aspects of accounting operations and cash management, including production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and comprehensive controls and budgets.Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Analyze and prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts, and coordinate the construction draw process.Manage the yearly audit and tax compliance process, establishing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets.Key requirements include Certified Accountant/CPA with 2-3 years of experience in real estate/construction industry, highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality of deliverables.
