Role :
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's complex network infrastructure. This includes ensuring network security, optimizing network performance, and troubleshooting network issues. The Senior Network Engineer will also play a key role in assisting the Head- IT in strategic planning and vendor management.
Responsibilities :
• Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network problems and outages
• Hands on experience with Routers, LAN, WAN, Switches, Firewalls including configuration, implementation and troubleshooting
• Ensure network security and data integrity
• Collaborate with other IT team members on infrastructure projects
• Provide technical support to end-users
• Stay up-to-date on new networking technologies and industry trends
• Vendor management and negotiations
• Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
Minimum Required Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree with relevant IT industry experience
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
• Experience with network design and implementation
• Experience with network security and firewalls
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Certifications :
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher
• Other relevant industry certifications
Desired/Preferred Skills :
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS,GCP)
• Experience with Tally, DLP, DSR, and CMP.
• Experience with Endpoint protection management
• Experience with network automation and scripting
• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
