Job Overview:


The Management Trainee (HR Operations) role is designed to provide recent graduates with hands-on experience in HR operations within a fast-paced automotive environment. The trainee will work closely with the HR team to understand the processes related to employee lifecycle management, payroll, recruitment, compliance, and performance management. This role offers a learning platform to develop HR knowledge and skills and aims at preparing the candidate for an eventual full-time HR Operations role.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Employee Lifecycle Management:

• Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including documentation, induction programs, and exit formalities.

• Support in maintaining and updating employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS).

• Assist in managing employee personal data, attendance, and leave tracking.

2. Recruitment & Staffing:

• Collaborate with the recruitment team in posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.

• Participate in campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and recruitment events for fresher hiring.

3. Payroll and Benefits Administration:

• Support the payroll team in ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements.

• Assist in managing employee benefits such as health insurance, Provident Fund, Gratuity, and other statutory benefits.

• Handle employee queries related to payroll and benefits.

4. Performance Management:

• Assist in the execution of the performance appraisal process.

• Help organize employee feedback and training programs based on performance evaluations.

• Support the HR team in identifying and implementing performance improvement initiatives.

5. Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations.

• Assist in preparing HR compliance reports and maintaining statutory records (like ESIC, PF, Factory Act).

• Conduct regular audits of employee files and records to ensure compliance.

6. Employee Engagement & Communication:

• Assist in the design and implementation of employee engagement activities like team events, celebrations, and wellness initiatives.

• Gather feedback from employees through surveys and discussions and share insights with the HR team.

• Help in managing internal communication through newsletters, emails, or HR portals.

7. HR Analytics & Reporting:

• Generate HR-related reports, such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and recruitment effectiveness.

• Work on HR dashboards and provide insights into trends that affect HR operations.


Qualifications and Skills Required:


1. Education:

• Recent graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields. Candidates with Tier-1 Engineering/ Management Institutes would be preferred.

2. Skills:

• Strong understanding of HR principles and operations.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with HR software or HRIS.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

3. Personal Attributes:
