Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled data support specialist to join our application development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Unix system administration, solid understanding of cloud-based data services, and hands-on experience with ETL pipelines and production support.This role plays a key part in ensuring reliable ingestion, transformation and delivery of data from multiple global sources, supporting production environments, and collaborating with international teams to maintain a critical financial data platform.Main Responsibilities:Administer and support Unix/Linux-based environments hosting data processing and integration services.Operate and maintain ETL pipelines, integrating data from multiple systems into centralized databases, data warehouses, or data lakes.Perform log analysis, debugging, and root cause investigations in real-time production systems.Support services hosted in AWS, including resource, process, and file management.Utilize SQL for data querying and analysis.Collaborate with global development and support teams across regions.Required Skills and Qualifications:A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration or production support.Practical knowledge of Unix commands (file manipulation, process management, text processing, system monitoring).Ability to efficiently navigate Linux environments, manage files/directories, and perform operations from the command line.Experience with SQL and SQL query writing.Strong log analysis, root cause analysis, and debugging skills.Understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline architectures.Familiarity with AWS cloud environments (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Fluent English (spoken and written).PREFERRED SKILLS:Exposure to financial data pipelines or market data platformsBackground in L2 application support in a regulated, high-availability environment
