The role requires complete ownership of plant performance, ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, workforce management, and P&L accountability.RequirementsKey Responsibilities Manage end-to-end factory operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and dispatch. Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery timelines while optimizing cost and efficiency. Implement lean manufacturing practices to enhance productivity and reduce operational waste. Ensure full compliance with safety standards, statutory guidelines, and industry regulations. Lead and mentor factory teams, fostering a high-performance and safety-focused culture. Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain uninterrupted raw material availability. Maintain and improve product quality in line with defined standards and customer expectations. Prepare, monitor, and control factory budgets, production KPIs, and cost metrics. Drive automation, continuous improvement initiatives, and adoption of best-in-class manufacturing practices. Take full responsibility for the factory's P&L, ensuring alignment with business and financial targets. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. 7–12 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in mattresses, foam products, furniture, or consumer goods. Prior experience managing medium to large-scale production facilities. Strong leadership skills and experience handling a large workforce. Solid understanding of lean processes, Kaizen, and quality management systems. Proven track record in factory-level P&L ownership. Analytical, hands-on, problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making ability.
