Spend AnalystThe Spend Analyst role involves managing, cleansing, classifying and analyzing procurement spend data across multiple entities.Key Responsibilities:Cleanse and Normalize Supplier Data: Utilize SQL/Excel tools to cleanse and normalize supplier data.Classify Spend: Classify spend into predefined taxonomies (Direct/Indirect; L1/L2/L3 levels).Map and Deduplicate Suppliers: Support mapping and deduplication of supplier records across entities.Validate Classification Models: Validate AI/ML-driven classification models and correct misclassified data.Generate Reports: Generate category roll-ups and dashboards for reporting cycles.Exception Handling: Perform exception handling and QA on recurring spend refresh cycles.Document Rules: Document rules, mapping logic, and change logs for auditability.Support Taxonomy Harmonization: Support taxonomy refinement and harmonization efforts.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Economics or related fields.2–4 years of experience in spend analytics/data operations.Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL.Working knowledge of data cleansing concepts.Familiarity with category taxonomies.Experience with Power BI/Tableau preferred.
