About Our TechnologyWe are building innovative AI voice agents for businesses that operate primarily on phone calls. Our focus includes restaurants, hotels, clinics, and call centers.Our goal is to create solutions that handle real-time calls end-to-end (TTS, ASR, LLM), book tables or appointments, answer frequently asked questions, and integrate with existing tools — so humans can concentrate on tasks requiring their direct involvement.We are currently in the pre-MVP phase and moving swiftly. If you enjoy building from scratch and taking ownership of significant product components, this opportunity is suitable for you.Our ObjectivesTo develop systems capable of answering and making calls in real-time.To establish connections between our system and CRMs, booking systems, and point-of-sale systems.To utilize TTS, ASR, and LLMs for engaging in natural conversations.To deploy our solution on a modern and scalable infrastructure.The PositionYou will be responsible for overseeing the back end and core integrations, delivering an MVP by June 2026, and assisting us in growing from 0 to our first 20+ users and beyond.Your key responsibilities will include:Functioning as the technical lead for the platform (equivalent to a founding engineer/business partner).Making product decisions alongside technical ones.Converting customer conversations into shipped features and experiments.Daily TasksDesigning and implementing APIs, data models, and integrations.Establishing and hardening our infrastructure on AWS.Collaborating closely with the founder on customer interviews, product experiments, and roadmaps.Maintaining high quality without over-engineering: tests where necessary, logs where reviewable.Evaluating your own work critically and contributing to the overall architecture as we expand.Key Qualifications and SkillsA minimum of 4-8 years of experience in developing SaaS back ends & APIs in production.Previous experience working on real-time systems, queues, or telephony is desirable but not mandatory.A pragmatic approach to testing, security, and operations — avoiding recklessness and perfectionism.Comfortable owning architecture and performing code reviews.Pleasure in interacting with users and transforming feedback into changes.Familiarity with Lean Startup thinking: shipping small, measuring, learning, and adjusting.
