Job Title: Business Development Leader (Director/VP)

Location: Bengaluru or Remote (India)

Experience 8-15+ years


Datafoundry is an AI first company with solutions to accelerate digital transformation. As part of our initial focus on the Life Sciences industry, we have built AI-automation products in the Pharmacovigilance domain.

Datafoundry has multiple AI/ML algorithms that can solve digitalization problems across industry sectors such as Health Care, Utilities, Aerospace and Defence, Manufacturing, Banking and Financial sectors.

As part of our growth plan, we are looking for passionate Business Development leader to target the Indian market. The ideal candidate should have demonstrable experience in business development in the technology sector – especially AI, Data Analytics, and SaaS product sales. The person should be an evangelist for the pathbreaking AI-powered solutions built by the company, and forge partnerships and alliances as part of the ecosystem. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving our business expansion and shaping the future of data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to identify and secure new business opportunities India and APAC
  • Establish and foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, understanding their business needs and aligning our solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and closing deals, consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Stay updated on AI industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to proactively identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, AI/ML group, and Product Management, to drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure customer success.



Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development and sales roles, preferably within the data analytics, AI, or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth, with a strong network of contacts in the Indian/APAC market.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts and build compelling business cases.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving business growth and exceeding targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
