Technical Support Specialist RoleThis role involves providing advanced technical support and acting as a subject matter expert within our IT operations.The successful candidate will handle complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive process improvements to ensure service quality and reliability.Advanced Technical Support: The specialist will handle high-priority incidents escalated from junior engineers, ensuring quick diagnosis and resolution.Root Cause Analysis: The specialist will conduct in-depth analysis of recurring issues and document preventive measures and solutions.Incident & Problem Management: The specialist will own the resolution of critical issues and participate in post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement.They will also work closely with junior and senior teams to provide guidance and technical escalation support, ensuring adherence to ITSM best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation & Scripting: The specialist will develop scripts or workflows to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.API Integrations: They will configure, test, and maintain integrations between ITSM tools and third-party systems using REST APIs.System Administration: The specialist will manage user access, permissions, configurations, and policies across SaaS and infrastructure platforms.Mentorship: They will support and mentor junior engineers in technical troubleshooting and best practices.This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a deep understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems, SaaS platforms, and automation workflows. Key skills include knowledge of scripting languages, API design principles, and system administration practices.
