Headquartered in Navi Mumbai, we pride ourselves in being at the forefront of the Media & Telecommunications industry.Job OverviewThe Network Admin L2 position is a mid-level role located in Pune, requiring full-time employment. The candidate will manage network systems, ensuring security and efficiency while supporting the organization's telecom infrastructure. Proficiency in network security and firewalls is mandatory.Basic QualificationsB.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science (60% marks throughout in academics)ExperienceAt least 5 to 10 years of experience in Network and security operations.Qualifications and SkillsProficiency in network security and familiar with Firewalls like Cisco ASA and Palo Alto (Mandatory skill).Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, NTP & DHCP protocols (Mandatory skill).Hands-on experience with routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF, to ensure network efficiency and security.Knowledge and experience in network automation to streamline processes and increase reliability.Proficiency in automation languages such as Python or Ansible for scripting and automating tasks.Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues with expertise and efficiency.Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Roles and ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain network infrastructure ensuring optimal performance and security.Monitor network traffic and security alerts, resolving issues promptly to maintain seamless operations.Implement and manage firewalls, ensuring robust network security across all systems.Configure and maintain essential network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.Oversee routing protocols like BGP and OSPF to enhance network reliability and scalability.Utilize network automation tools to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.Assist in network design and architecture planning, ensuring alignment with company objectives.Document network changes and configurations, maintaining clear records for future reference.
