Job OverviewTata Electronics is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.The company is building India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry, producing chips for applications like power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers, and high-performance computing logic.The facility addresses the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing, data storage, wireless communications, and artificial intelligence.Lead a team responsible for managing yield at a 300mm Wafer Fab.Partner with Digital/IT teams to design and develop Yield Management software and Database.Develop a Data Integration framework that collects data from different sources (E-test, Defect Inspection, Inline Metrology, Sort).Yield Analysis Tools: Develop algorithms for data analysis to enable root cause understanding and yield optimization.Collaborate with Process Improvement, Control Fabrication Manufacturing teams, and vendors to drive continuous system improvements.Automation & Reporting: Generate Automated yield reports.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product Engineering and Process Integration teams to get requirements to build the software to support yield management.Ensure reliability and scalability of the software for high volume data.Present updates to senior executives.Travel as required.Key RequirementsA self-driven, independent individual with a results-oriented approach.Strong collaboration skills across global teams.Continuous learning mindset.Data-driven problem-solver with a curious and resilient nature.Humble and relationship-focused communicator.A creative and agile professional who can adapt to change.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent; Advanced degree preferred.Experience in data analysis, failure/defect analysis and yield improvement.Understanding of device physics, process integration, yield improvement, failure mechanisms.Familiarity with statistical techniques, data visualization techniques, operations dashboards.Familiarity with process modules, metrology/defect inspection tools.Familiarity with AI/ML basics.
