Since the beginning, Thales has been playing an essential role in India's growth story by sharing its technologies and expertise in Defence, Transport, Aerospace and Digital Identity and Security markets.Job DescriptionPrimary Purpose of the RoleHe / She contributes to the hardware development and IVVQ (integration, verification, validation & qualification) activities required to develop a test bench solution and/or HW building blocks associated with it.Performs hardware development activities and generates associated manufacturing definition filesIdentifies the key BOM and compliance to ROHS, WEEE & REACH standards.Contributes in co-engineering activities with the Software, IVVQ and Systems Engineering team.Performs development activity as per the CHORUS 2.0 process.Key Responsibilities and TasksElaborates the requirements and supports in the test hardware design and development Contributes to the hardware architectural design and generates associated manufacturing definition files (Bill of material (BOM), electrical interconnection and wiring details (ICD)).Performs CAD activities (Electrical CAD) for wiring harness for racks/cabinets and electrical interfaces. Develops supporting documents like technical construction file, user and maintenance manuals Participates in the integration activities and verification phases of test benches/ building blocks Skills RequiredEssential8+ years of experience in design and development oof ATE for defence / avionics applicationsgood experience in COTS Test & Measurement equipmentKnowledge and ability to select instruments to meet test needsCircuit Design & Schematics Development (ORCAD / Allegro CADENCE) Wire Harness Design - AUTOCADHands-on usage of instruments and test set-upsAware of test standards associated with CE marking, DO 160DesirableRF Domain knowledgeRF HW design toolsAt Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
