Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Solar Design Professional to join our team. As a Solar Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solar solutions that meet the needs of our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign conceptual 3D renderings using AutoCAD 3D software for ground-mounted and rooftop solar systems.Perform accurate system cable sizing calculations to ensure optimal performance.Create detailed electrical single-line diagrams, cable losses, connection diagrams, cable trajectory and cable tray routing for projects.Generate PVsyst reports for system yield production estimates, ensuring compliance with grid requirements.Develop designs that adhere to permitting regulations and standards.Produce detailed bills of materials based on system specifications, streamlining procurement processes.Collaborate with the team to develop comprehensive proposal packages, effectively communicating project details.Troubleshoot design and construction issues in the field, resolving problems efficiently.Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D software and PVsyst tools.Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and solar system design.Ability to work accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines.Effective communication and teamwork skills.BenefitsThis is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative solar solutions.
