Job Summary:


The Corporate Relationship Manager for Academic Partnerships will play a pivotal role in fostering and managing relationships between educational institutions and corporate organizations. The primary responsibility is to develop and maintain partnerships with companies that align with the institution's academic goals, enhancing opportunities for placements, internships, research collaborations, and industry-oriented academic programs.


Key Responsibilities:


Partnership Development:

Identify and pursue corporate partnerships that align with academic programs, institutional goals, and student development.

Develop and execute strategies for establishing long-term relationships with leading companies across industries.

Work closely with academic leaders to design programs that incorporate industry insights and expectations.

Industry Collaborations:

Facilitate joint academic-industry projects, research collaborations, and sponsorships.

Organize guest lectures, seminars, and workshops with industry leaders to benefit students and faculty.

Work with the corporate sector to set up mentorship programs and advisory boards for key academic departments.

Corporate Liaison:

Act as the primary point of contact between the institution and corporate partners.

Understand the corporate landscape and ensure that corporate partnership opportunities align with industry needs.

Ensure continuous engagement with corporate partners through regular meetings, events, and networking opportunities.

Program Development & Coordination:

Support the design and implementation of industry-oriented courses, training modules, and certification programs.

Help in the development of corporate training programs for company employees.

Contract Negotiation & Compliance:

Negotiate terms and conditions of partnerships, including MOUs, internship agreements, sponsorship deals, and any other contractual arrangements.

Ensure compliance with institutional policies and legal guidelines in all partnership agreements.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Maintain records of corporate partnerships, student placements, and internship outcomes.

Prepare regular reports on partnership performance, engagement metrics, and feedback from stakeholders.

Analyze industry trends to identify new opportunities for collaboration.

Event Coordination:

Organize corporate networking events, job fairs, and campus recruitment drives.

Plan and execute industry-academia engagement activities such as corporate tours, student visits, and alumni interactions with the corporate sector.

Key Requirements:


Education:

Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Corporate Relations, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate relations, business development, or partnerships management, preferably within the academic or education sector.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to manage and foster relationships at various levels of the corporate hierarchy.

Excellent negotiation, project management, and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with academic and non-academic teams.

Knowledge of industry trends, especially in education and corporate training.

Additional Qualifications:

A network of corporate contacts across diverse industries.

Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Personal Attributes:


Proactive and goal-oriented.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
