Job Summary:The successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing and procurement of materials, developing strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality products.About the RoleStrategic Sourcing:Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy for all raw materials, aligning with business objectives and market trends.Evaluate and select new suppliers through rigorous assessment and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company standards.Negotiate favorable prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with key suppliers.Procurement & Purchasing:Process purchase requisitions from planning and production departments, issuing RFQs and POs to suppliers.Manage supplier performance, conducting regular reviews and audits to maintain high-quality standards.Cost Management & Budgeting:Analyze market trends and raw material price fluctuations to inform buying decisions and achieve cost savings targets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.Quality Assurance & Compliance:Establish clear quality standards and Technical Data Sheets (TDS) for all materials, working closely with Quality Control.Evaluate supplier-provided test reports and certifications to ensure compliance.Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:Maintain optimal stock levels in collaboration with inventory/store managers.Coordinate with production planners to align material delivery schedules with production plans.
