Role Summary The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for solar EPC projects. This includes sourcing materials, vendor management, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining cost efficiencyall while adhering to quality and compliance standards. The role requires strong coordination with design, project, and execution teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Key Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors and suppliers for materials and services. Float RFQs, evaluate bids, and prepare detailed techno-commercial comparisons. Lead commercial negotiations and finalize purchase orders. Review and finalize commercial terms such as payment schedules, warranties, and liquidated damages to ensure they are favourable and risk-mitigated for the company. Coordinate closely with design, engineering, and project teams for material specifications. Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery; proactively address any delays or logistical issues. Maintain vendor relationships and continuously assess supplier performance and reliability. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management (preferred). 25 years of procurement experience in the solar EPC or renewable energy sector. Strong understanding of solar materials (modules, inverters, MMS, cables, BOS, etc.). Excellent negotiation, documentation, and vendor management skills. Familiarity with ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement reporting tools. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. - Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.
