About Position:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer/Developer with a strong background in programming, data engineering using Apache Spark along with any one of the programming languages, Java or Scala. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data processing, orchestration, and database management, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions for large-scale data systems.

What You'll Do:
Demonstrate expertise in Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.Act as a hands-on developer, proficient in programming languages such as Scala or JavaDesign and develop database models, with experience in working with SQL or NoSQL databases.Utilize scripting languages like Shell or Python for automation and data manipulation tasks.Leverage orchestration tools such as Airflow or Oozie to manage data workflows (a plus).Work with table formats such as Delta or Iceberg (nice to have).Utilize version control systems like Git and build tools like Maven for development and collaboration.
Expertise You'll Bring:
Expertise in distributed computing and data frameworks, particularly Apache Spark.Proven hands-on experience in Java or Scala development.Strong knowledge of database design, modeling, and working (SQL) and (NoSQL) databases.Experience with big data platforms like Cloudera is preferred.Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Oozie is a value-add.Working knowledge of version control and build tools such as Git and Maven.Knowledge of modern table formats like Delta or Iceberg.A combination of software development and data engineering experience is a strong advantage.
