Senior QA Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Mandatory Skill: Playwright (TypeScript)

looking for immediate Joiners


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI testing (using Playwright and Selenium) and API testing (using Rest Assured and other tools).
  • Create and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs, validating request/response, status codes, headers, payloads, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for automated and manual testing.
  • Perform end-to-end, integration, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and log bugs using tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Contribute to the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics.
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 yrs - 8 yrs of experience in QA automation.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Playwright (TypeScript)
  • Rest Assured for API automation (Java-based)
  • Postman or similar tools for manual API testing
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols.
  • Experience with test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Version control using Git.
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
