QA Playwright Automation


Responsibilities:

  • Good experience of Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript programming language.
  • Good experience with BDD Cucumber for QA delivery.
  • Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using JavaScript /TypeScript.
  • Developing and maintaining JavaScript-based test automation frameworks for web applications.
  • Responsible for improving automation for all project deliverables and for following defined processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to ensure high quality software delivery.
  • Design, develop and maintain BDD test cases using Karate API test automation and other frameworks.
  • Perform API testing, ensuring robust and scalable integration of services.
  • Perform data quality testing, ensuing accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure test coverage and continuous improvement in the testing process.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in collaboration with development teams, providing detailed report on bugs and failures.
  • Ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines integrate with automated testing solutions.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Software testing experience with of relevant automation testing experience.
  • Hands-on development of JavaScript-based automation framework with Playwright.
  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in API testing and automation using tools like Karate, postman or similar.
  • Strong programming skills for test automation using UI Path automation.
  • Expertise in BDD test case design and tools like Cucumber, Behave or similar.
  • Solid understanding of data quality testing principles and practices.
  • Hands on experience in an agile development environment.


Preferred Qualifications/ Skills :

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in a consulting role or client-facing environment is highly desirable.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent are a plus.
