We are seeking a passionate and driven Software QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Bangalore office, contributing to the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge platform.   Job Description   We are looking for a proactive Software QA Automation Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to design, develop, and execute automated testing frameworks for our Saa S platform ( Web and Mobile app). The ideal candidate is a go-getter with a strong focus on QA automation using the latest technologies, coupled with hands-on expertise in performance, security, and penetration testing. This role offers significant career growth opportunities in a fast-paced, innovative environment.   Responsibilities:   Test Strategy and Planning Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans for software projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create test plans and test cases. Automation Testing Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using modern tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops) to enable continuous testing and delivery. Test Execution Execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and security tests for assigned software modules. Performance Testing Define performance testing objectives and scenarios. Conduct load, stress, and scalability tests using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or Locust. Analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations. Security Testing Perform security assessments, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, using tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite. Collaborate with security experts to identify potential vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., OWASP). Defect Management Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla. Manage defect tracking, triage, and resolution processes, working closely with developers for timely resolution. Quality Advocacy and Process Improvement Promote best practices in QA processes to foster a culture of quality across the development lifecycle. Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and tools. Collaboration Work closely with development, product, and project management teams to ensure alignment on quality goals. Risk Assessment Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality. Metrics and Reporting Monitor and report on key quality metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Compliance Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as SOC2 and GDPR. Stay Updated Keep abreast of the latest QA automation tools, technologies, and industry trends to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.   Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in QA automation, with a focus on web-based Saa S applications. Technical Skills: Proficiency in automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, Locust). Knowledge of security and penetration testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite). Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Java Script for test automation. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops). Understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing tools like Postman or Soap UI.   Soft Skills: Go-getter attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
