Job Title: Manager – Accounts (Payable & Receivable) - Real Estate IndustryLocation: Mylapore, ChennaiExperience: 7 – 10 YearsCTC: ₹5 – ₹8 LPAIndustry: Real EstateJob Description:We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Accounts (Payable & Receivable) to oversee and manage financial operations related to sales, marketing, and CRM functions. This role requires strong expertise in real estate accounting, statutory compliance, and cross-functional coordination to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely execution of transactions.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable (Sales & CRM):Maintain and reconcile customer accounts for real estate projects.Coordinate with Sales and CRM teams for accurate billing and timely collections.Monitor payment schedules, aging reports, and follow up for outstanding dues.Reconcile collections with GST, TDS, and other statutory deductions.Liaise with banks for home loan disbursements and reconcile entries.Assist CRM with demand letters, financial NOCs, and possession clearance documentation.Accounts Payable (Marketing & Sales):Process vendor invoices related to marketing (advertising, events, digital, consultants, brokers).Verify invoices against approved purchase/work orders and ensure budget compliance.Manage payment schedules, track due dates, and ensure timely payments.Process broker commissions, incentives, and referral payouts as per company policy.Handle statutory deductions like GST input credit, TDS, etc.Maintain vendor ledgers and ensure account reconciliation and closure.General Accounting & Compliance:Prepare and present monthly MIS reports (payables, receivables, cash flows).Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audits and documentation.Support project-wise financial analysis and reporting.Ensure timely and accurate filing of accounting records and documents.Collaborate with other departments to streamline finance processes and ensure compliance with company policies.Preferred Skills & Competencies:Strong understanding of real estate industry accounting.Proficient in handling full-cycle Accounts Payable and Receivable.Knowledge of statutory compliance: GST, TDS, RERA.Experience with accounting software: Tally ERP / SAP / Real Estate ERP.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and deadline orientation.Effective communicator with ability to coordinate across Sales, Marketing, and CRM teams.Qualifications:Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter (Preferred)Experience: 7–10 years in real estate accounting, specifically in Sales & Marketing related payables and receivables.
