Position Title: Manager – Quality Assurance - Wire Manufacturing

Location: Chandrapur, Maharashtra

Department: Quality Assurance

Reports To: Plant Head / GM – Operations

Exp: Minimum 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the Wire Industry.

Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering (mandatory).

Salary: As per market standards

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the Quality Assurance function and ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, and statutory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Systems, ISO-9000 standards, BIS License & compliance requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) as per ISO 9000 and other applicable standards.
  • Manage and renew BIS Licence and ensure product quality meets certification requirements.
  • Proven ability to implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure adherence to customer and regulatory specifications.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Monitor in-process and final product quality through systematic inspection and testing.
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
  • Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and R&D teams to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Prepare and present quality reports, audit findings, and performance metrics to management.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing quality complaints, conducting investigations, and implementing improvements.
  • Lead and train the QA team to build a strong quality-focused culture across the plant.
