Job Title: Technical Computer SpecialistJob Description:This is a technical computer specialist role that involves providing second-level support for desktop/laptop hardware, software, and peripheral issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems.The successful candidate will work closely with the IT team to diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues escalated from the L1 support team. They will also be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, software applications, and system updates.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and resolve complex technical issuesInstall, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applicationsPerform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of equipmentProvide remote support and troubleshooting for users working from home or in the fieldTrain and mentor junior support technicians as neededEnsure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and best practicesRequired Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:Associate's or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field2-4 years of experience in a desktop support or similar roleStrong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systemsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applicationsExperience with Active Directory, group policies, and user account managementFamiliarity with remote desktop tools and support softwareExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamRelevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plusBenefits:This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and work on exciting projects.
