Job Title: Microsoft Intune ConsultantJob DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in Microsoft Intune and SCCM to join our team as a consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for discovering all installed applications across the environment and compiling an inventory of applications currently deployed via SCCM.Key Responsibilities:Discover all installed applications across the environment.Compile inventory of applications currently deployed via SCCM.Analyze and rationalize discovered apps to identify actively used applications.Identify unmanaged, duplicate, or obsolete applications.Assess compatibility of applications for Windows 11 and Intune deployment.Fix existing package issues and repackage as needed (MSI, IntuneWin formats only).Facilitate user acceptance testing and certify applications for production.Package complex, time-consuming tech service applications (~50–80 known apps).Create and maintain custom installation scripts or wrappers (e.g., PowerShell).Import packaged applications into the AdminStudio catalog.Stage and assign applications in Intune.Troubleshoot deployment issues and resolve app assignment failures.Perform core application updates, AP testing, and FOMS patching.Oversee deployments and generate deployment reports.Periodically review and clean up unused applications.Maintain documentation on packaging process, versioning, and application ownership.This is a highly technical role that requires strong scripting skills, preferably in PowerShell, solid knowledge of Intune and SCCM, particularly in application deployment domain, in-depth understanding of the Windows operating system, including file system, registry, services, and related components, clear understanding of end-to-end Application Lifecycle Management processes — from packaging and testing to deployment, maintenance, and retirement, and hands-on experience working with .msi packages and creating silent wrappers for COTS and LOB applications, proficiency with Microsoft Intune and IntuneWin package formats, and strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.RequirementsStrong scripting skills in PowerShell.Solid knowledge of Intune and SCCM, particularly in application deployment domain.In-depth understanding of the Windows operating system.Clear understanding of end-to-end Application Lifecycle Management processes.Hands-on experience working with .msi packages.Proficiency with Microsoft Intune and IntuneWin package formats.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.BenefitsOpportunity to work with a leading organization in the industry.Competitive salary and benefits package.Chance to develop and improve your skills in Microsoft Intune and SCCM.Collaborative and dynamic work environment.How to ApplyIf you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for technology and a drive to succeed, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
