Senior SolarWinds Automation EngineerOverview: We are seeking an experienced Senior SolarWinds Automation Engineer to optimize, automate and manage our SolarWinds platform.Platform Administration:We are looking for a skilled engineer to administer and maintain the SolarWinds Orion platform, including NPM, NCM, SAM, VNQM, and other modules.Automation Development:Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automating SolarWinds tasks such as node onboarding/offboarding, alert suppression or muting during maintenance windows, custom alert/report generation and distribution, and SolarWinds–ServiceNow integration enhancements.Implementation and Configuration:Implement custom monitoring logic, automated diagnostics, and integrations via Orion API, SWIS, and REST endpoints.Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with stakeholders to understand automation needs and deliver solutions that support observability workflows.Tool Building and Maintenance:Build tools and utilities to support monitoring self-service, reporting automation, and configuration validation.Monitoring Management:Manage custom Pollers, SNMP configurations, and agentless/agent-based monitoring across multi-vendor environments.Query Optimization:Design and optimize SWQL and SQL queries to support reports and custom dashboards for tailored views.Alert and Notification Setup:Configure and maintain alert logic, escalation policies, and notification integrations.Incident Response and Analysis:Participate in incident triage and root cause analysis, leveraging SolarWinds logs and metrics.Security Posture Maintenance:Maintain security posture of the application, including RBAC, SNMPv3, and audit logging.What We Offer:Competitive compensation package.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.A collaborative work environment.The chance to make a meaningful contribution to our team.
