Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and manage our national B2B solar sales operations. The National Head - Solar Sales will be responsible for driving sales of solar panels to EPC companies across India, building and nurturing client relationships, and ensuring seamless coordination from prospecting to deal closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand the company's footprint in the B2B solar panel market.
  • Identify and Target EPC Companies: Research and identify potential EPC companies as prospective clients for solar panel sales.
  • Client Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at EPC companies, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and negotiation to closing deals.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competition, and emerging opportunities to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Coordination and Follow-Up: Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth delivery, installation, and after-sales support.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue goals in alignment with company objectives.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in B2B sales, with at least 3-5 years in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of closing high-value deals and managing large accounts.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the solar energy market and EPC companies in India.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to effectively engage clients and stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team to achieve sales targets.
  • Analytical Skills: Competency in analyzing sales data, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.

  • Build and maintain a strong client base of EPC companies through effective relationship management.
