Job Opportunity: Tax SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our esteemed tax team. As a key member, you will provide critical support to our financial operations, ensuring tax compliance and delivering accurate and timely reporting.Tax Compliance: Prepare and review U.S. federal and state tax returns (1065, 1120S, 1120) for general contractors, subcontractors, and developers.Nexus Determination: Perform multi-state apportionment analysis and nexus determination for construction entities operating across jurisdictions.Tax Analysis: Analyze percentage-of-completion (POC) and completed-contract methods for accurate tax treatment.Depreciation Schedules: Handle depreciation schedules and Section 179/bonus depreciation related to heavy equipment and fixed assets.Client Support: Assist in preparation of K-1s, tax basis calculations, and reconciliation of book-to-tax differences for construction clients.Communication: Communicate with U.S. engagement teams to resolve open items and clarify construction-specific tax positions (e.g., look-back calculations).Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review tax returns for various entitiesPerform nexus determination and multi-state apportionment analysisAnalyze tax data and identify areas for improvementAssist in client support and communicationWhat We OfferA dynamic and supportive work environmentThe opportunity to work on challenging tax projectsOngoing training and professional development opportunities
