About this Senior Finance RoleFinancial Operations and Management This role is for a detail-oriented and proactive senior to join our start-up. The senior will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.Key Responsibilities:Manage the accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliationsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-makingHandle book closing, prepare financial statements, and provide timely MISEnsure compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirementsPrepare and process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other disbursements in a timely mannerSupport audits, tax filings, and liaise with external auditors/consultants as requiredManage accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate records of transactionsMaintain documentation and compliance for cross-border payments and international vendor transactionsMonitor cash flows and coordinate with banks and financial institutionsStay updated on changes in accounting standards, taxation, and compliance regulations relevant to the businessRequirements:Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA/ CA Inter / CMA preferred)4–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a start-up or technology companyStrong knowledge of GST, TDS, and general compliance requirementsExperience in book closing, reconciliations, and financial reportingFamiliarity with cross-border payment processes, FEMA basics, and related complianceProficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar)Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilityAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentWhat We Offer:Dynamic and collaborative work environment with learning opportunitiesCompetitive compensation and benefits
