A background in IT sales and a proactive approach to business development are vital for success in this position.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesOwn the full sales cycle from lead qualification to closure across assigned accountsManage and grow a book of accounts, nurturing client relationships for repeat businessDevelop strategic account plans to map Salesforce solutions to client business objectivesCollaborate with pre-sales consultants, delivery teams, and Salesforce AEs to craft winning proposalsMaintain a strong understanding of Salesforce Cloud offerings (Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, etc.)Conduct discovery meetings, solution positioning, and executive-level presentationsWork closely with Salesforce industry and segment teams to align go-to-market effortsMeet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets and sales activity targetsKeep accurate records in Salesforce CRM: forecast, pipeline, opportunities, meetingsRepresent the company at Salesforce events, webinars, and industry forumsKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Quarterly revenue targetNumber of new clients acquired / quarterPipeline coverage ratioProposal to closure win rateClient retention / renewal rateStrategic account engagement scoreAverage deal sizeNPS Score CRM hygiene & reporting complianceDesired Skill SetProven success in B2B enterprise software sales, preferably in Salesforce or cloud SaaS ecosystemDeep understanding of solution selling or consultative selling methodologies (SPIN, Challenger, MEDDIC)Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and translate client challenges into Salesforce solutionsEffective communication and C-level negotiation skillsAbility to collaborate cross-functionally with technical, delivery, and marketing teamsPrior experience with Salesforce CRM, proposal tools, and B2B sales tech stackIndustry-specific experience in sectors like BFSI, Manufacturing, Retail, Public Sector is a strong plusBachelor's degree required, MBA or post-graduation in Sales/Marketing preferred
