About the job
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Sales Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for selling a range of enterprise-level IT solutions, including software, and services, to large organizations and businesses. You will manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, fostering long-term relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing accounts.
- Identify, qualify, and prioritize sales opportunities with key decision-makers at large to mid enterprises.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, utilizing CRM tools to track and manage opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
- Understand clients' business needs and challenges to propose tailored IT solutions that align with their strategic objectives.
- Develop long-term relationships with C-level executives, IT decision-makers, and key stakeholders in target enterprises.
- Provide expert guidance and consultation to clients on IT infrastructure, software, cloud solutions, and other technology services.
Product Knowledge & Solution Selling:
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Present and demonstrate technical solutions, including networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise software, effectively.
- Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to design customized IT solutions for clients.
Negotiation & Closing:
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and final sales closure.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth contract execution and delivery.
Reporting & Forecasting:
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
- Track sales performance and continuously analyze and improve sales techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in IT sales, specifically selling to enterprise clients.
- Proven success in B2B sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise IT solutions, including cloud, infrastructure, networking, and software.
- Strong understanding of the technology landscape and the ability to position complex solutions effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand customer pain points and provide tailored solutions.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics.
