Production Planning SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced professional to support end-to-end manufacturing, shop-floor planning, material flow, and warehouse execution processes.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in global manufacturing environments and be able to drive configuration, integration, testing, and deployment activities across production planning and warehouse management.Key Responsibilities:Configure and support master production schedules, demand management, bill of materials, routing, work centers, production orders, and capacity planning.Enable detailed shop-floor execution, confirmations, settlements, and reporting.Support make-to-stock (MTS), make-to-order (MTO), and repetitive manufacturing scenarios.Analyze and optimize production cycle times, scheduling, and planning run performance.Build functional specifications for enhancements, forms, and custom logic.Configure warehouse inbound, outbound, put-away, picking, internal warehouse movements, and transfer orders.Integrate warehouse with production planning, materials management, quality management for seamless material staging and consumption.Support production supply area (PSA) setup and kanban-based replenishment.Optimize warehouse master data such as storage types, bins, and control parameters.Handle interface with barcode systems, RF scanning, and warehouse automation.Work closely with materials management, quality management, sales and distribution, finance and controlling, and ABAP teams for integrated manufacturing and logistics flows.Lead workshops, create functional design documents, configuration documents, test scripts, standard operating procedures, and training material.Support unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and go-live preparation.Provide hyper-care and steady-state support ensuring smooth production operations.Required Skills & Experience:10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP production planning, with strong exposure to end-to-end production processes.Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations involving production planning and warehouse management.Strong understanding of master production schedules, material staging, production order management, and warehouse execution.Proven experience in warehouse-PP integration, especially staging and backflush processes.Ability to troubleshoot production stoppages, warehouse exceptions, and master-data issues.Experience writing functional specs and working closely with technical teams.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Good-to-Have:Experience with SAP S/4HANA (production planning and EWM migration or simplification items).Exposure to enterprise warehouse management is a plus.Knowledge of manufacturing execution system integration, IoT-driven production processes.Understanding of quality inspection, batch management, and serial number handling.Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, or related field.],
