Production Support Specialist

Experience: 5+ years Location: NAGPUR Notice Period: Immediate Joiner only Investment banking domain is must. Provide L2/L3 application support running on Oracle databases with PL/SQL and Unix components. Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, and application issues related to PL/SQL procedures, jobs, and Unix shell scripts. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive actions. Maintaining comprehensive documentation of support processes, issue resolutions, and knowledge base articles to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Should be good to contribute individually and work as SME along team a good team player who can lead the team. Ability to understand client queries and should build plan to fulfil the requirements along with team and get back to client within deadline. Leading and mentoring a team of app support specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth. Should be good in leading and drawing initiatives to closure. Will be expected to do timely delivery on ask pro-actively. Required Skills: Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL – writing/debugging procedures, functions, packages. Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting – reading/editing/debugging scripts. Solid understanding of job scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys). Experience working in a production support or application support environment. Hands-on experience with service Now monitoring and dashboard creation. Good communication and documentation skills. Proven team lead experience. Ability to work in a 24x7 support model or on-call rotation.
