Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AVP/ VP - Strategy & Ops to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in building and scaling our health services, including nutrition, coaching, fitness, and mental health. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong operational background, capable of driving our mission to deliver exceptional health outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

1.Operational Leadership:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business objectives and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead the creation and scaling of health services, including nutrition, coaching, fitness, and mental health.
  • Establish efficient processes and systems to manage daily operations and enhance productivity.
  • Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations
  • Hiring, training and mentoring of the healthcare service team
  • Establish operational metrics for tracking quality and efficiency, establish processes for daily/ weekly/ monthly reviews and proactively work on root cause analysis for deviations and problem solve.

2.Process Building & SOPs

  • Develop and Standardize Operational Workflows: Create and implement streamlined processes across departments to ensure consistent, efficient, and scalable operations.
  • Establish SOPs for Key Functions: Design comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) for clinical, customer support, and internal operations to enhance client experience and ensure quality control.
  • Optimize and Document Protocols: Continuously refine processes by identifying bottlenecks, gathering feedback, and maintaining updated documentation to support smooth onboarding and training for new team members.

3.Team Management:

  • Build, lead, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of health professionals and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

4.Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute the company’s strategic vision and goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive initiatives to expand service offerings and market presence.


5.Customer Experience:

  • Ensure a superior client experience through consistent and high-quality service delivery.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve client satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Partnerships and Collaboration:
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, technology vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events and forums to build brand awareness and drive business development.

6.Partnerships with Vendors & Service Providers

Identify and Engage Key Partners: Strategically source and establish relationships with high-quality vendors and service providers to enhance service offerings and operational capabilities.

Negotiate and Manage Contracts: Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and ensure alignment with the startup’s goals, maintaining strong vendor relationships for long-term collaboration.

  • Monitor Performance and Compliance: Regularly review vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and timely delivery, implementing improvements as needed for seamless service integration.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior operational role, preferably as a / Senior Manager / GM/ AVP/ or similar position.
  • Strong background in service industries, consumer tech, logistics, e-commerce, or management consulting (KPMG, EY, Deloitte, MBB etc).
  • Strong motivation and drive for an entrepreneurial role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale health services or similar operational functions.
  • MBA or B.Tech from a top-tier institution.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for health and wellness would be a plus.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience
  • Strategic planning and business development experience
  • Strong written and verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills



The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the organization. Your primary goal will be to increase our organization's productivity, efficiency, and profitability. You will advise & work with the CEO on key operational insights as well as provide mentorship to employees.
