Position - IT-Security Operations Lead

Experience - Min 10 Years

Location - Mumbai



We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated individual with a deep understanding of security strategies and proven track record in managing IT-Security management and operations with strong exposure to IT-Network technologies.


The candidate will work closely with internal business stakeholders and align with the initiatives, as well as collaborate with OEM’s, vendor and partners with strong governance principles.


  • Key Responsibilities: Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to protect the company's information assets
  • Leading and managing a team of Security Operations (SOC), including hiring, training and performance management.
  • Assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches and reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of security requirements and enhance IT Infrastructure.
  • Maintaining, updating and testing of incident and emergency response plan.
  • Proactive monitoring and conducting regular security assessments, audits and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement. Tracking and implementing corrective actions based on Incident and problem management.
  • Oversee the proper deployment, configuration, and functioning of IT Security systems and IT Network Infrastructure
  • Monitor internal and external policy compliance
  • Stay informed about the latest security technologies, trends and regulatory requirements and make recommendations for enhancements to the security program.
  • Educating and managing technology risk in collaboration with business leaders.
  • Documentation and implementation of SOPs, checklists, run-books and policies.
  • Timely renewals of contracts.
  • Managing and governance of Partners and Vendors responsible for Infrastructure management in the areas of InfoSec, IT-Network and Telecom.


  • Specific Project responsibilitiesIdentify new technology / products that can help in Business Operations in Security and Network, build Business case, identify and evaluate technology and partner to implement the same and drive project implementation.
  • Annual review and update of all System Architecture diagram / documents

Experience in Technologies and Tools: -

  • IT –Security: Endpoint Security, EDR, SOC and SIEM Tools,DLP, Cloud Proxy, NxtGen-Firewalls, SSL IPSEC VPN, Data Security, MDM, IDS, IPS, VAPT Tools like Nmap / Nessus.
  • IT – Network: LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Load Balancers, Cloud Wi-Fi, Routers and Switches.


Skills and Qualifications: -


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

At least 12-15 years of experience IT-security and IT-Network operations and management. Primary skill area should be Security with strong exposure to Network domain (70-30)

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and other stakeholders. Experience on interaction with CxO level as well as Product OEM’s is a must.
  • Flexibility for short travel to project locations / OEM locations required

Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP,CISA, CISM, CCSP are a plus.
