Legal Operations ManagerThis role entails overseeing end-to-end legal operations for entities in India and the US, encompassing contract management, compliance governance, handling notices, coordinating with external counsel, and ensuring smooth cross-border operations.Key ResponsibilitiesEntity ComplianceManage legal notices, responses, and communications for entities in the US, India, and NZ.Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance under Companies Act 2013, FEMA, Labour Laws, GST, and IT Act in India.Coordinate with US registered agents and advisors for Delaware franchise filings, annual reports, and state compliance.Maintain a master compliance calendar across all three entities.Contract ManagementDraft, review, and negotiate SaaS agreements, MSAs, NDAs, channel partner agreements, vendor contracts, and consulting agreements.Support sales and finance teams with customer contract reviews, renewals, and compliance with ASC 606 and GDPR obligations.Maintain a contract repository, track renewals, and ensure timely renewals of customer and vendor contracts.Develop internal contract playbooks and templates for repeatable use.Legal Coordination & AdvisoryCollaborate with external counsel for litigation, IP protection, employment law, and data-privacy matters.Provide legal inputs to stakeholders on business decisions, pricing models, and new market entry.Governance & Internal PoliciesDevelop, review, and update internal policies – code of conduct, anti-bribery, data protection, vendor onboarding, and employment policies.Maintain documentation trails and version control for all legal and policy documents.Establish scalable frameworks for risk management and contractual governance.Qualifications:LLB or BL from a reputable university; LLM or CS background preferred.5–7 years of post-qualification experience with exposure to SaaS, tech, and IT sectors.Proven experience in managing entity compliance, contract negotiation, and regulatory liaison.Excellent drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with SaaS legal aspects such as subscription models, data processing agreements, and reseller contracts.Preferred Skills:Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or contract-tracking tools.Experience coordinating with Big 4 or legal advisory firms.Ability to independently handle notices and responses.Strong project-management mindset and attention to detail.
