Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer Test About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Senior Software Development Engineer in Test. This role involves creating and maintaining automated test cases, executing test suites, reviewing and diagnosing reported bugs, and ensuring overall system quality.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation frameworks, and agile development methodologies. They will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value-added feedback. Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain automated test cases, executes test suites, review and diagnose reported bugs, and ensure overall system quality.Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value-added feedback.Work with the Engineering Teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle.Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes; work closely with software developers to create software artefacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.Work in cross-functional areas with internal partner engineering teams in a disciplined agile environment.Test complex API and web-based applications that reference database back-end systems.Estimate own testing tasks and works productively with minimum supervision while showing an excellent team attitude. Requirements:In order to be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:Understanding of functional testing and working with automation frameworks in an agile environment.Experience in Selenium/Playwright for automation testing.Experience in Java for test platform development.Hands on experience in AWS/Azure.Hands on experience API testing - RESTful.Hands on experience in Automation Frameworks like Pytest and Testng.Experience with Linux.Highly experienced in Mysql, git.Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to analyse complex problems in large systems.Detail-oriented, analytical and a creative thinker with a passion for quality and test automation.Strong Coding Experience - Java.
