About ONE ChampionshipONE Championship is Asia’s largest global sports media property, and the world’s largest martial arts organization, hosting bouts across all styles of martial arts such as Muay Thai, Kickboxing, MMA, Grappling, etc. In addition to its digital platforms, ONE Championship broadcasts to over 2.6 billion potential viewers across 190 countries around the world with some of the largest global broadcasters, including Amazon Prime Video Sports, Globo’s Combate, Channel 7 HD, beIN Sports, Abema, Disney+ Hotstar, and more.OverviewAs part of the Content Marketing team at ONE Championship, the SEO Specialist will be responsible for leading the company’s SEO strategy by researching trends and analyzing data to increase search traffic and brand awareness across all digital platforms.ResponsibilitiesOwns the vision, strategy, and roadmap for SEO & content globally and ensures strategic direction is aligned to the Company’s organizational and business goalsSpearhead the execution of all activities of the SEO department and be accountable for performance of optimized contentBe an in-house SEO expert, monitoring trends on best practices and any changes in the search space, ensuring high search rankings and promoting organic viewsEstablish clear performance indicators and deliver leadership updatesIdentify and evaluate acquisitions to improve the global SEO footprintGuide the content team to ensure site content is engaging and shareable; recommend content approaches to gain natural attribution from authority sitesWork closely with the Analytics & Insights team and proactively provide analytics and key findings to tailor strategiesCollaborate on the strategy and approach for PR and socialWork with Product & Marketing to improve the conversion rate for organic trafficAdopt a hands-on approach in building up the SEO team from scratch; attract, recruit, and provide leadership and guidance to the departmentExperience/Skills Required:3+ years of experience successfully developing and executing SEO strategyStrong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methodsExperience with SEO tools like Google Analytics and MS SuiteOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsFanatical attention to detail and accuracy in reportingStrong organizational skills to manage workflow and meet deadlinesKnowledge of combat sports or sports media industry is preferred
