Overview As part of the Content Marketing team at ONE Championship, the SEO Specialist will be responsible for leading the company’s SEO strategy by researching trends and analyzing data to increase search traffic and brand awareness across all digital platforms. Responsibilities Owns the vision, strategy, and roadmap for SEO & content globally and ensures strategic direction is aligned to the Company’s organizational and business goals Spearhead the execution of all activities of the SEO department and be accountable for performance of optimized content Be an in-house SEO expert, monitoring trends on best practices and any changes in the search space, ensuring high search rankings and promoting organic views Establish clear performance indicators and deliver leadership updates Identify and evaluate acquisitions to improve the global SEO footprint Guide the content team to ensure site content is engaging and shareable; recommend content approaches to gain natural attribution from authority sites Work closely with the Analytics & Insights team and proactively provide analytics and key findings to tailor strategies Collaborate on the strategy and approach for PR and social Work with Product & Marketing to improve the conversion rate for organic traffic Adopt a hands-on approach in building up the SEO team from scratch; attract, recruit, and provide leadership and guidance to the department Experience/Skills Required: 3+ years of experience successfully developing and executing SEO strategy Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods Experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics and MS Suite Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Fanatical attention to detail and accuracy in reporting Strong organizational skills to manage workflow and meet deadlines Knowledge of combat sports or sports media industry is preferred
