Job Description:A highly skilled AWS Engineer is sought after to design, implement and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).Design and implement high-availability, fault-tolerant and auto-scaling solutions using a range of AWS services.Work closely with application, network and security teams to ensure seamless integration of AWS services and deliver enterprise-level solutions.Implement advanced security hardening, encryption and key management solutions to protect sensitive data and applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy and operate large-scale AWS-based systems, leveraging automation and infrastructure-as-code practices.Provide expert-level technical guidance and support for AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFront and more.Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies, best practices and security protocols to drive innovation and improvement within the organization.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum 6 to 10+ years of experience working on AWS cloud technologies in engineering and engineering rolesProven expertise in designing and managing high-availability, fault-tolerant and auto-scaling solutions using AWS servicesProficiency with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Glacier, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Route 53 and moreHands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and strong knowledge of security hardening and encryption key managementExperience with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild and CodeDeploy for cross-account deployments and proficiency in Python or other high-level programming languagesExpertise in microservice engineering and container orchestration platforms, as well as deep knowledge of configuration management, network connectivity and deployment automation tools on AWSAWS Certified Solutions Engineer – Professional or equivalent certificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with the Serverless Framework for building and deploying serverless applications and experience with Lambda for automation and custom functionalityFamiliarity with disaster recovery and high-availability configurations using AWS Route 53 and working knowledge of SES, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB and other AWS servicesExposure to design reviews for introducing new technologies and deep understanding of AWS security aspects and best practices
