Job DescriptionThe Cyber Security Engineer is a highly skilled professional responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security systems to protect computer networks, applications, and data.This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to stay ahead of emerging threats and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.Required Skills and QualificationsSecurity Architecture:Design, deploy, and manage cybersecurity technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools.Implement security controls for cloud, network, application, and endpoint environments.Threat Detection and Incident Response:Monitor security alerts and logs to detect suspicious activities.Investigate security incidents and lead response efforts.Vulnerability Management:Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests.Identify risks and work with IT engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities.Policy, Compliance, and Governance:Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).Identity and Access Management:Manage IAM tools and enforce least-privilege access controls.Collaboration and Documentation:Work closely with IT DevOps, and engineering teams to maintain secure environments.BenefitsCyber Security Engineers play a critical role in protecting an organization's digital assets.
