Job Role Overview:This role is centered around providing hands-on security guidance and support to the development teams.Collaborative Approach: As a primary security advisor, you will work closely with delivery teams to embed security best practices across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Threat Modeling & Architecture: Facilitate threat modeling sessions and architectural reviews to identify potential logic flaws and design risks before code is written.Cloud Security Assurance: Validate the security posture of cloud infrastructure and services to ensure configurations align with industry benchmarks.Automation & Integration: Assist engineering teams in integrating automated security testing into their CI/CD pipelines to enable faster, more secure releases aligned with DevSecOps principles.Vulnerability Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct in-depth application security testing to proactively identify vulnerabilities and recommend precise mitigation strategies.Continuous Testing & Analysis: Execute manual vulnerability assessments and utilize industry-standard tools to continuously analyze applications and dependencies for security risks.Key Responsibilities:Primary Security Advisor: Collaborate with delivery teams to develop and implement effective security controls.Threat Modeling Expert: Lead threat modeling sessions and architectural reviews to identify and mitigate potential security risks.Cloud Security Specialist: Ensure cloud infrastructure and services align with industry security best practices.DevSecOps Practitioner: Assist engineering teams in integrating automated security testing into their CI/CD pipelines.Vulnerability Assessor: Conduct in-depth application security testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.Security Analyst: Analyze security data to inform risk-based decisions and drive security improvements.About You:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Engineer to join our team.
