Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst to lead and manage the analysis, design, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions to support business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ITSM and CSM modules, a deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of ServiceNow solutions that drive business efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
- Serve as the liaison between business users and the technical team, ensuring a clear understanding of business needs and system capabilities.
- Lead workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with cross-functional teams to develop effective ServiceNow solutions.
- Design, document, and communicate functional and technical specifications for ServiceNow modules, particularly ITSM, CSM, and other relevant areas.
- Analyze and document current processes, workflows, and pain points, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements through ServiceNow.
- Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing), ensuring that solutions align with business requirements and expectations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts and other team members.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow capabilities, industry trends, and best practices, ensuring optimal use of the platform.
- Assist in project management activities, including timeline development, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Act as a change agent to support organizational improvements by utilizing ServiceNow capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with 3+ years specifically in ServiceNow.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM and CSM modules on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, functionality, and best practices.
- Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow workflows, automation, and reporting.
- Proficiency in gathering and analyzing business requirements and converting them into technical documentation.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS) preferred.
