Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to lead the development, management and enhancement of our critical trading platforms, including RMS and OMS. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of financial trading platforms and their technological base.

Responsibilities:


Product Strategy and Roadmap Development:

  • Define the strategic vision and roadmap for RMS, OMS, and trading platforms in alignment with the organization’s goals.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for RMS and OMS, aligning with the firm's broader business objectives.
  • Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and evolving client needs to inform product roadmap and innovation initiatives.


Product Development and Lifecycle Management:

  • Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to implementation and product enhancements.
  • Define product requirements, create detailed product specifications, and manage product backlog.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
  • Monitor product performance and implement improvements based on client feedback and market demands.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external vendors to gather requirements and translate them into actionable development plans.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders regarding product performance, milestones, and strategic plans.
  • Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate priorities to ensure alignment with business objectives.


Risk and Compliance Oversight:

  • Ensure that RMS and OMS adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with trading platforms.


Technology and Innovation:

  • Partner with technology teams to oversee the design and development of scalable and efficient trading solutions.
  • Drive innovation in trading platforms by integrating advanced analytics and automation tools.


Market Analysis and Competitive Benchmarking:

  • Conduct market research to identify gaps and opportunities in trading platforms.
  • Benchmark products against competitors to maintain a leading position in the industry.


User Experience:

  • Prioritize user experience and design intuitive interfaces that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Gather user feedback and incorporate it into product enhancements and future releases.
  • Train and support users to maximize adoption and utilization of the trading platforms.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on trading platforms, RMS, and OMS, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, trading processes, and asset classes (equities, derivatives, fixed income, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for trading platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyses complex systems and workflows.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in product management or related fields (e.g., CSPO, PM/PO) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
