Job Title: Oracle HCM Technical Consultant (Technical + Functional)

Location: Hyderabad, Gurgaon Hybrid and Remote

Experience: 5 to 6 years (with at least 1 implementation experience of Core HCM & ORC)


Mergen Partners is currently hiring for a client in the cloud consulting space. Our client, a leading provider of cloud-based solutions, is looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Technical Consultant to join their team. If you have a strong background in Oracle HCM Cloud Modules, Oracle Fusion HCM integrations, Fast Formula, HCM Extracts, BIP Reports, API development, and PL/SQL, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and implementing REST/SOAP Web Services.


Key Responsibilities:


Oracle HCM Cloud Modules:

  • Implement and manage Oracle HCM Cloud Modules such as Core HR, Talent Management,


Absence Management, and Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).

  • Configure, customize, and maintain Oracle HCM systems to align with business requirements.


Technical Design & Development:

  • Develop and administer Fast Formula, configuring complex business logic within Oracle HCM.
  • Design, build, and maintain HCM Extracts and BIP Reports to meet organizational needs.
  • Develop API integrations to ensure seamless data flow between Oracle HCM and other business systems.
  • Write, debug, and optimize PL/SQL code for data processing and integration tasks.


Integration & Troubleshooting:

  • Design and develop integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to integrate Oracle HCM with other enterprise applications.
  • Implement and troubleshoot REST/SOAP Web Services for effective system integration and data exchange.


Collaboration & Support:

  • Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices while maintaining system integrity and performance.


Key Requirements:


Must Have:

  • 5 to 6 years of experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud, with a focus on Core HR, Talent Management, Absence Management, and ORC.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Oracle Fusion HCM integrations.
  • Proven experience with Fast Formula, configuration, and administration.
  • Proficiency in developing HCM Extracts, BIP Reports, and APIs.
  • Expertise in PL/SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • At least 1 implementation experience in Core HCM and ORC.


Good to Have:

  • Experience working with Oracle BIP Reports.
  • Knowledge of designing, developing, and managing integrations via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Experience with implementing REST/SOAP Web Services for system integration.


Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle HCM Cloud) are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
