NOCC is staffed 24X7 by expert Platform Operations engineers, based out of the global command centers. The Command centers are in - Bangalore, Cambridge, Krakow.Partner with the bestThis is an opportunity to work in a large scale, global network operations department.As a Platform Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for:Monitoring, manage, and maintain 3,50,000+ servers, Layer 3 and 22,000+ Layer 2 devices across global data centers.Responding to hardware, software, network, and OS alerts as per defined SLAs and Enhancing automation, maintain SOPs, and improve operational processes.Troubleshooting ISP connectivity, packet loss, latency, filtering, and routing issues impacting global network performance.Analyzing network traffic, capacity, and performance metrics to detect anomalies and trends.Performing detailed link-level diagnostics and analyze network traffic, capacity, and performance to identify anomalies.Supporting internal teams on abuse reports, content blocking, planned events, and collaborate during maintenance or outages.Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:Have technical Diploma or Bachelor's degree from a reputed institution with a good academic record.1+ year of experience in networking within a NOC or similar environment.Look out for CCNA/JNCIA certified professional and hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper routers/switches.Have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Possess good technical analysis and troubleshooting abilities.have exposure in Linux/Unix and SQL skills - Good to haveWork in a way that works for youFlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
