Ltd.Primary ResponsibilitiesEnsure to achieve reduction in downtime on account of machine automation and electricalConduct, monitor and analyse the condition of machine/equipment based on failures and deviations in various parameters to carry out predictive/preventive maintenance by utilizing equipment/machine downtimeImplement modification in Hardware / Software related to CAPA for minimizing repeated failuresConduct condition-based maintenance along with the mechanical and electrical worksAnalyze data from available log books/SCADA systems and accordingly prioritize line of actions for mitigationConduct root cause analysis for repeated failures and implement CAPAEnsure availability of critical spares in ready to use condition to maintain plant up-timeAdhere to electrical safety guidelines at all timesEnsure smooth functioning of Gel room, HCM, PFD and Utility equipment w.r.t automationEnsure smooth operation of control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA) VFD, SERVO DRIVES & controlling parameters as per normsSupport and Close Coordination with shift Incharge Mechanical and electricals and ensure minimum breakdown on account of HCM onlineCalibration & VerificationEnsure calibration and verification of all listed equipment as per calibration calendarMaintain documentation related to calibration and verification activities such as history cards, calibration certificates and traceability certificatesCompliance to regulatory and statutory normsReview mechanism to be followed to ensure equipment status wrt calibration activitiesDevelop alternate vendor development & risk assessments in order to mitigate risk and adhere to compliancePlan and execute capacity expansion and other improvement projects in the facility wrt to automationPlan, execute and ensure adherence to project tracker/planner for various improvement projects as per budget and scheduleCoordinate with consultants/internal SMEs for designing systems wherever requiredSupport other user functions in execution of their departmental projectsEnergy ConservationEnsure implementation of various energy saving projects to achieve budgeted ECRMonitor, plan and execute energy cost reduction activities to achieve budgeted energy costCost optimizationEnsure reduction in spares consumptionEnsure cost optimization in improvement projects with vendor developmentEnsure cost optimization in calibration and verification activitiesInternal ProcessPrepare & submit monthly project tracker to HODPrepare & submit monthly review trackers for calibration activities to HODSubmit PM compliance report on monthly basis to HODKey Result AreasDowntime reductionProductivity increaseCost optimizationECR ReductionCompletion of improvement projects as per approved planCalibration & verification of listed equipment as per the calibration calendarKey InterfacesInternal InterfacesExternal InterfacesLead Engineering onlineLead utility MaintenanceShift engineer MechanicalCustomersVendorsCompetenciesSound knowledge of Preventive & Breakdown MaintenanceKnowledge of Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing)Basic Utility and Maintenance OperationBasic troubleshooting & RepairPersona-IntegratorPersona-PartnerPersona-InnovatorHas the candidate displayed any of the Values (Caring/Collaborative/Progressive) during the discussions?
