Position Title: Working Capital Finance Analyst
Location: Gurugram
Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Working Capital Finance Analyst to oversee and optimize our working capital management processes. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing cash flows, managing receivables and payables, ensuring liquidity, and supporting strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payment Cycle Management:
- Manage payment cycles with vendors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Ensure timely disbursement of payments while optimizing working capital utilization.
- Negotiate credit terms with suppliers and financial partners to maintain liquidity.
2. Working Capital Management:
- Monitor and manage daily cash flow and liquidity.
- Evaluate working capital performance through financial metrics and KPIs.
- Recommend strategies to optimize cash conversion cycles.
3. Accounts Receivable & Payable Management:
- Analyze receivables and payables aging reports.
- Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to streamline collections and payments.
- Identify and mitigate credit risks.
4. Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Prepare and present working capital forecasts, variance analyses, and management reports.
5. Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in annual budget preparation related to working capital.
- Support long-term financial planning and investment analysis.
6. Banking & Treasury Management:
- Manage banking relationships and ensure compliance with loan covenants.
- Support fundraising activities, including working capital loans and lines of credit.
7. Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and financial standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education:
- Semi Qualified CA, Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in financial planning, working capital management, or corporate finance.
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or startup environments is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho Books).
- Advanced Excel skills and financial reporting capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
