Manager : Finance Operations
Location : Bangalore, India
Position Type : Full-Time (Office only)
Responsibilities
Fund Management : Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the fund, including fund disbursements, cash flow management, and financial planning.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and limited partners. Ensure all financial reporting meets the regulatory standards and timelines.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and provide financial forecasts, analyzing variances, and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
Compliance and Audit : Manage the fund’s compliance with all regulatory requirements and handle the coordination of annual audits with external auditors, including with trustee firm and SEBI requirements.
Investor Relations : Support LP reporting and manage inquiries related to fund performance and financial matters.
Strategic Initiatives : Work closely with the senior management team to align financial management with short and long-term financial planning and projections.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to support broader fund operations, including investment evaluations and portfolio management.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant
- CS is desirable/preffered
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting, GAAP, and financial principles relevant to venture capital.
- Proficient in financial software and Excel; experience with fund management software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
